Conrad has worked in the leisure industry for over 10 years both in the private and public sector.
Keen to develop the provision of both main stream and more niche sports to the local community within Rutland, Conrad is a keen sports enthusiast regularly enjoying football, rugby, rowing and snowboarding.
Sports Facilities Duty Manager
Sam is an experienced swimming instructor and has taught children and adults of all abilities for the past 18 years with excellent results. She has also enjoyed working with and developing the skills of children who have a physical or learning disability. Sam spends her free time competing in equestrian sports, recently achieving Midlands Indoor Carriage Driving Novice Champion.
Andy has worked in water safety for 15 years as an open water lifeguard and beach lifeguard trainer at Rutland Water.
As one of our Sports Facilities Duty Managers, Andy is a key member of our lifeguarding team and is highly experienced in open water safety and event management.
Andy enjoys a wide range of sports and recreation including swimming, rugby and photography.
Having worked at Oakham School for the past two years while studying for his degree in Geology, Gary has trained to be a qualified lifeguard and is now one of our Sports Facilities Duty Managers. He is a previous Great British record holder for Junior Archery and over the next two years, is studying to complete his Geology masters.
Andrea took up teaching swimming professionally around 20 years ago and has a background working in primary education, particularly children with additional needs. With additional coaching qualifications in both Adult and Child and Synchronised Swimming classes, Andrea is able to deliver a wide range of lessons.
Away from the pool, Andrea is a keen crafter, who also loves cooking and running.
